Who can participate?

Applicants must be enrolled in a study programme leading to a university degree and should not be younger than 18 and not older than 30 years. Students of all fields of study are welcome. Only requirements are fluency in English (or, in case of the CEPAL committee, Spanish) and a strong interest in the work of the UN and in particular the topic of the committees you are applying for. MUN-experience is an asset but not a prerequisite.

Applicants register as an individual delegate (applying for a certain committee). It is important to note that no further applications will be accepted once maximum conference capacity is reached. It is therefore recommended to register as soon as possible.

You can also participate as Administrative Staff during conference week. You will be assigned to a committee and provide assistance especially to the chairs of this committee. This is a great way to gain MUN experience for first-timers if you don’t feel comfortable enough to enter into the debates right away. Register now for the Ad-Staff programme!

If you’re rather interested in journalistic work, you can support our PR team during the conference by writing articles for the Westphalian Diplomat, our conference newspaper. More information on this will follow.
