The MUIMUN Logistics Team is responsible for a smooth course of the conference, mostly acting in the background long before the event takes place.The main task for the logistic team is to organize

• the conference location

• the transportation from the accommodation to the conference location and also to the evening events

• daily lunch

The Events Team is responsible for the planning, realisation and organisation of the official ceremonies and social events. We aim to offer a wide ranging programme of interesting and exciting events, which gives the delegates the opportunity to get in touch with their fellow delegates apart from the committees.

The MUIMUN team of Public Relations and Marketing is responsible for the promotion of the conference. Thus our main tasks include:

• designing and distributing flyers and posters

• publishing our monthly newsletter, the Delegates Handbook and the conference newspaper, Westphalian Diplomat, during the conference

• sending information to social networks and universities in Germany and abroad

• contacting and inviting the media

• updating our homepage

The IT team supports us on the technological side.

The fundraising team – as the name suggests – is in charge of gathering the necessary means to make MUIMUN 2012 a truly unique experience. Our main task is to gain the financial, material and ideological support of companies and foundations whose profiles fit to the MUIMUN values. The funds we are hoping to obtain will be used e.g. to finance the scholarship program, the various locations or simply the little details that make MUIMUN so special. We are looking forward to a successful cooperation with all partners and friends and – of course – to another unforgettable conference.

The delegate’s service team will be supporting you before and during the conference. We are also responsible for the accommodation for the foreign delegates. The Scholarship Team helps students, especially from developing countries, to take part in the MUIMUN conference.
Thus we are responsible for:

• Evaluation and assessment of the applications

• Organisation of travel and accommodation for the scholars

We deal with any questions and problems concerning the applicants and scholars.

As you can guess from our name – our overall aim is to innovate. We come up with new ideas or gather them from other team members and further advance them. By implementing the organization team’s visions as thoroughly as possible, we guarantee a constant refinement of the MUIMUN structures and processes. This year we are specifically concerned with MUIMUN’s legal status as we plan to further develop MUIMUN’s role as an association to simplify the organization team’s work.
