To prove that we can not only elect Prime Ministers and Chancellors, the ‘old’ MUIMUNers voted for the General Secretariat and the Coordination Team for the conference 2013 yesterday. Thus, the torch is passed and a new organization team with freshly elected leaders is ready to make MUIMUN 2013 even greater than this year’s conference. Well, at least they’ll try.
It is a great honour to introduce you to Secretary-General Bernard Dröge: when asked if he wants to participate in MUIMUN 2013, he could simply say ‘Why not?’ Bernard started to attend MUNs in 2005 and has already participated twice in the MUIMUN conference. MUNs and Bernard belong together and without any doubt he will fulfill his new tasks with enthusiasm and great results!
With no less honour we congratulate Isabel Lischewski for being the new Deputy Secretary-General. What’s a loss for the PR team (in which she started her MUIMUN career in the organization team) is certainly a gain for the General-Secretariat. With an already prepared 10-points-plan and her 100%-attitude, together with Bernard she will turn MUIMUN into the most professional MUN in the world and then strive for world domination.
We warmly congratulate Tessa Höper and Christian Laskowski for their election as Coordinators! Both are MUIMUN veterans (‘alte Hasen’, the German expression is so much nicer) and have worked in the Logistics team of last year. In a very close vote they won out over the other candidates and the new team can look forward to a lot of deadpan humour and (military) organisational skills!
